1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age. You confirm this when you create your account, and paid plans additionally require a valid payment card. We will terminate any account if we have reason to believe the holder is under 18.

2. The Service

Develop21 provides AI-powered advisory through specialized personas. Each persona generates responses through its own independent API call. Features depend on your subscription:

Debate ($20/mo): Multi-persona critical thinking and debate. Focus mode, persistent memory, browser extension.

PA ($30/mo): Personal assistant with objective/project/task management, priority engine, focus mode, browser extension.

Careers ($40/mo): Coach and Agent for job search, split-screen document editor, 5-stage application pipeline. Includes Debate.

Verticals ($60/mo): Industry-specific advisory team with PA features. Includes Debate.

Develop21 for Claude (free): a careers connector that runs inside your own AI assistant subscription. Your assistant does the thinking; Develop21 keeps your career profile, your ten most recent job opportunities and their document packs (job description, review, tailored resume, cover letter), and your application history. Application documents are retained for 30 days on the free plan; deleted items are recoverable for 30 days, then permanently removed. Develop21 Storage ($4.95/mo) removes these limits and adds restore from the recycle bin.

3. Pricing & Fair Use

All paid app plans include a 14-day free trial with a valid credit card; Develop21 for Claude requires no card. Monthly message limits apply to app plans: Debate 750, PA/Careers 1,500, Verticals 1,800. File uploads, task management, and document editing do not count. Unused messages do not roll over. We will notify you at 80% usage.

Introductory offer: the first 1,000 Develop21 Storage subscribers receive a lifetime 40% off voucher, tied to their account. The voucher applies to Develop21 Storage and to Develop21 Premium Data Products purchased with the same account, and can be combined with other Develop21 promotional discounts — one lifetime voucher per transaction. It does not apply to any third-party products or services resold, aggregated or billed through Develop21.

4. Cancellation

Cancel any time from the Account page. Access continues until the end of the billing period. Data retained for 30 days for export, then permanently deleted. No refunds for partial periods.

5. Acceptable Use

Use the Service for its intended purpose only. Do not: reverse-engineer, share credentials, upload illegal content, use bots/scrapers, circumvent security, or resell output without consent. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. AI Disclaimer

The personas are AI systems, not human professionals. Their responses are suggestions, not directives. The Service is not a substitute for licensed career counselling, legal, financial, or medical advice. No guarantee of outcomes. You assume all risk for decisions based on AI advice.

7. Your Data

All conversations encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Support cannot view your conversations without your explicit 24-hour consent grant. You may export all data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Browser Extension

Captures visible page content when actively triggered. Does not run in background, capture passwords, or record browsing. Available to all products. You are responsible for complying with third-party site terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, personas, and architecture are owned by Develop21 LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and patent. You retain ownership of your content. AI-generated output is yours for personal and professional use.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Develop21 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability capped at the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Dispute Resolution

Contact dispute@develop21.com for informal resolution (30 days). Governed by New Jersey law. Exclusive jurisdiction in Mercer County, NJ. Class action waiver applies.

12. Changes

14 days' email notice before material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
